Historical Background
In the year 2000 the company formed in the name of SYSTEM AUTOMATION for plant erecting, maintenance & trouble shooting. With dynamic start, SAL has been engaged as local distributor of LG, Korea from 2001. In 2003 SAL successfully completed their first complete project of Rahimafrooz battery Ltd at Jerani, Savar where the production capacity was 150000 battery/month. As a dynamic and committed company SAL obtained sole distributorship of Atonics, Korea 2004. Considering quality, reliability & customer services SAE started looking forward and become a limited company named as System Engineering Ltd in the year 2007. At the same year SEL joined with Hyundai as exclusive distributor in Bangladesh for their Low & Medium volt product.

| 2006 | Successfully completed plant erection of Global Dyeing & Spinning Mills Ltd at Rupgonj, Narayangonj. |
| 2007 | Became a Limited company and changed its name to “System Engineering Ltd”. Joined with Hyundai as their Exclusive Distributor in Bangladesh for their LV & MV products. |
| 2008 | Joined with ABB as their Channel Partner in Bangladesh for their Inverter, PLC, Electric Motor and Instruments. Started Battery Manufacturing Plant erection project of Rahimafrooz (10,00,000 battery/month) at Iswordi EPZ. Started eraction project of Battery Accumulator Plant of Rahimafrooz at Savar. |

| 2010 | Started erection & mechanical project of 100 MW power plant at Gopalgoang and erection Unilever Bangladesh Ltd. at CTG, Tongi & Gazipur also. |
| 2011 | We have closed our business with Hyundai from middle of 2011. Started erection project of Coconut oil processing of Marico Bangladesh Ltd. at Gazipur. |
| 2011 | Beginning of 2011 SEL joined with LS as distributor in Bangladesh for their Low & Medium volt product. |
| 2012 | Become partner with Schneider electric for lighting control and energy management system. |
| 2013 | Become partner of Khosla Machineries, India, for Horizontal Packing Machine. |
| 2015 | In 2015 LS prepaid & Advance Metering infrastructure. |
| 2015 | Become partner of General Electric. |
| 2015 | Become partner of METREL Germany for its Measuring instruments and testers. |
